Terms of Use
Terms of Use
1. Parties and adult use
These Terms are between the adult user and Konieczny Miłosz, an individual operating MoonTale personally from Poland. MoonTale is not currently a registered company or separate legal entity.
MoonTale is intended for adults who are parents, legal guardians, or otherwise authorised caregivers. Children should not independently submit information. Use a nickname instead of a child's full legal name.
2. Current free prototype
MoonTale is a free early-stage prototype. It creates stories locally in the browser using predefined templates and vocabulary. No external AI API is currently connected.
MoonTale may change, suspend, or discontinue the free prototype and does not guarantee continuous availability.
3. Story output and adult review
Stories may be incomplete, repetitive, inaccurate, or inappropriate. The adult must review every story before reading it to a child. MoonTale is not medical, psychological, developmental, educational, or professional advice, and is not a substitute for books, teachers, caregivers, or professional support.
Harmful output may be reported to contact@moontaleapp.com.
4. User responsibilities
The adult is responsible for information entered into MoonTale and confirms they have authority to provide child-related story settings. Users retain rights in information they enter, but grant MoonTale only the limited permission necessary to process it locally and provide the requested preview.
5. Prohibited use
Do not use MoonTale for unlawful content, harmful content, attempts to extract private information, security abuse, infringement of third-party rights, scraping, malware, attacks, or attempts to bypass safeguards.
6. MoonTale materials
MoonTale branding, site design, mascot, original code, templates, and original content are protected where applicable, subject to third-party rights. MoonTale does not claim ownership of third-party material.
7. Reports and contact
Use contact@moontaleapp.com for harmful-output reports, support, privacy requests, intellectual-property concerns, access, correction, deletion, and unsubscribe requests.
8. Rights preserved
Nothing in these Terms is intended to remove mandatory legal, consumer, privacy, or other rights that cannot be waived under applicable law. MoonTale avoids extreme liability waivers and fabricated governing-law language.
